CRAVE Student Ministries is a ministry of Tri-County Worship Center in Seneca, South Carolina. Our mission is Romans 1:12&16, “I want to encourage you in your faith, but I also want to be encouraged by you. Because I am not ashamed of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. It is the power of Christ in those who believe." CRAVE offers a fun, safe environment geared to middle and high school age students in grades 6-12. We follow under the mission statement of TCWC which is to Love God, Love People, and Serve All. We meet in the main sanctuary of TCWC on Sunday nights 6:00-8:00pm. CRAVE provides pizza, snacks, and drinks for all of our students on regular service nights. We also meet for small groups, have a summer missions trip, and monthly events for CRAVE students. CRAVE participates in local and global missions. Locally we participate with a community wide Easter egg hunt, Halloween trunk or treat, and other community activities through out the year.
Short-term missions is a way to get a glimpse of missionary life in a short amount of time. Mark 16:15 says "And then he told them, 'Go into all the world and preach the Good News Story to everyone.'" Not everyone has a chance to be a part of a missions trip, and that is why TCWC provides this opportunity for our students.
Tri County Worship Center started short-term trips in 2001 starting with the first to Jamaica. Since then, there have been over 25 trips going to over 10 different countries as well as domestic trips. Our focus is to give our team an experience they will never forget. We want everyone to have the opportunity to see the world and begin to see it with different eyes.
The 2019 year we are headed to Peru. We will be taking a group of 21 young people to Peru. We will be traveling to Lima and Arequipa. While we are there we will be ministering with the use of dramas, testimonies, and humanitarian services. We will be working with Wayne Wozniak, who is a missionary in Peru and director of the Bible Institute.
This trip is now closed.
For more information on community involvement, and current missions trip, see separate tabs.
This series will run through the small group season.
We will meet at the church at 6:00 for All small group dates.
Food and snacks will always be provided.
CHECK OUT THE CALENDAR BELOW FOR DETAILS.
We have created water jugs for the Seneca rec dept baseball/softball/ games. These jugs will be provided every game for the remainder of the season on the benches for you to fill up your bottles.
We have also donated hundreds of water bottles to the baseball/ softball teams of Seneca High School. These water bottles will be handed out to all of the students at the end of year banquet.
We had an opportunity this month to get involved in a small way with www.thehopeglobe.com and fill out some cards for children with extended hospital stays. The Hope Globe makes and has volunteers paint these globe night lights, and then gives them to children that have illness that cause them to remain in the hospital for longer periods of time. This was just a way to say that someone is thinking about you, and CRAVE students did their part.
